The Snail Post

This is a beautiful card all the way from Geneva. Its theme is " found little things" specifically chosen for their shape and colour when Felicity was out walking.

The other respondents here will understand when I say that its really difficult to show all the nuances of colour, shading and detail which Felicity captures in these wonderfully delicate studies.

And who appears on the envelope - The Snail Post - suitable attired for the festive season.
I love this wee touch of humour Felicity.
Thankyou for my card.

I do like Felicity's work very much, she really has a great talent. The snail is such a fun touch and I think the festive bauble suits him well.

I think Felicity's series of postcards has really helped develop "Felicity style" - I know whose it is immediately I see it.

That Christmas bauble on the back of the snail is genius!

The decorated snail is my favourite image from this Christmas. Gorgeous leaves, Felicity. I'm dying to see where all this botanical painting practice takes you when our postcard exchange ends.

Lovely shapes, so beautifully arranged on the page to give each their space - absolutely love the Christmas snail too!

I love the snail shell. I want those snails in my garden. Maybe I can paint the snails in my garden with pretty colors. OK, I have gone over the bend with winter crazies.

Your leaves are delicately exquisite.

Isn't it wonderful that Switzerland has produced these stamp series to complement Felicity's lovely botanical drawings so perfectly?
