Lizard for Borromini / Liz-Art from S.Domingo

Liz spent 3 days at an Urban Sketchers Symposium in the Dominican Republic.

I wish I would have been there too!

Thank you so much Liz for your colorful July-card. The image shows a warm sunny day in the Caribbian. The nice stamps on the back made me curious to know who this person Dame Melba was. Now I understand the connection with the stamp in the middle...

Next time downtown Heidelberg I will think of you and her while enjoying the dessert.
(I hope it is alright using Borromini's wonderful gift for covering the address)

As everybody in the group I love real posted and stamped Mailart – snailart if you like.
But Liz' quick respond made me aware how great that internet is. 10.000 Miles distance shrinks to nothing. There was no stamp on the stamp. When did you post the card?
By the way. Have anybody of you sent me a June card? I hope it didn't get lost...

Isn´t it great to get postcards -and such pretty ones too -now in the days of e-mails! Lucky you!

So lucky to get a card from the D.R. symposium from Liz, the champion sketcher! Love the lizard.
(Albrecht I think you should have had a card from Katherine for June...?)

Everyone seems to be somewhere unexpected this year - How lucky you are to have caught Liz on her tropical island. The vibrant lizard hints at the exotic thrill of this year's symposium. Gorgeous.

How great to get a sketch from the Urban Sketchers Symposium! I never thought we'd be adding San Domingo to the list of places we've had postcards from.
