At the zoo

I received this wonderful postcard from Cathy... and all I could say at the time (and now too!) was WOW! Amazing sketches on both sides! I really really love elephants and it struck me that for Cathy they are not foreign animals but natives (unless this is an Asian elephant with big ears!)! The colours of Cathy's watercolour paint just jumps off the page. thanks Cathy!

Such a wonderful elephanty elephant. I just want to hug him. I also totally blown away with Cathy's depiction of the guinea fowl. I've tried to paint these myself with no success at all. Cathy has made it look so effortless but perfect.

It took me a while to find out the German name for the Guinea Fowl. Helmperlhuhn. Helmet Pearl Hen. Beautiful pearls covers this nice birds. Well done Cathy. I love it. The feather and the elephanty elephant as well!

Oh No!! this card is wonderful. I am so sad for myself because my Cathy postcard got lost in the mail. Darn! I have to live throguh your post care. Eelephant and feathers and hens...Geeees you got it all. LOL
