Sunflowers of Summer

Robyn Sinclair
Watercolor and ink on Paper
This wonderful postcard arrived on just the day I needed a fresh look at a gloomy day.  It brightened my attitude and the rest of my day.  Thank you Robyn, you made my day so much better.  Can you imagine sitting in front of this wonderful vista?  Robyn has these picturesque scenes all around where she lives in Italy. I dream of one day visiting and painting with her at all the wonderful places she sees every day.

Feels like you're sitting right amongst those sunflowers with Robyn, and looking back over the glorious fields of colour at the fairytale village - I'm dreaming too, Pat!

What a marvellous view - and a great sketch!

Wonderful yellows - just the right amount of detail to express the flowers' exuberance. Is it done on blue paper?

gorgeous Robyn - I've seen fields like that in the Dordogne and you've caught it so well.

Oh, gorgeous scene! How lucky Robyn is to have such magical scenery, and lucky Pat to receive it!

What a great composition! Such a cheerful contrast to drab London and it's supposed to be summer here too!
