A Postcard from Robyn, Tuscany

I was EXTREMELY excited to receive a beautiful card from Robyn in the mail. In this world wide land of online art communities, there is nothing so special as having an original artwork in your hand. I think that this has a special charm for me as it brings back wonderful memories of the last few days of my big trip when I actually spent time with Robyn in this gorgeous part of the world.

Thank you Robyn - what an exquisite sketch from a truly beautiful village!!!

This is such fun. It must be rather like a mini FLYING PICTURES for you who are receiving them.
Beautiful, Robyn. Thanks, Liz, for sharing it with us.

Wonderful postcard from Robyn in Tuscany...even moreso because I hiked up there this summer with Robyn when I visited her. I love these little glimpses into everyone's part of the world.

A lovely sketch - love the colours used for the stonework in light and shadow - and the intriguing little doorway just showing over the wall. makes me want to look inside.

A very nice card Robyn, very tempting! You will establish a new tourist magnet in Tuscany, the famous Castiglion Fiorentino..

Thank you all for all your lovely comments. Having worked my way back through all the beautiful, vibrant cards I'm startled to see how austere our little town looks by comparison. But now Spring is on the way so hopefully it will all be softened by the poppies in the olive groves.
