Willow Tree Across the Lake February 2012 |
This card from Alison is the last one of this great project. She wrote me...
The weather is now a little warmer, so I was able to sit by the lake in Richmond Park and paint this by any freezing! It was a day with grey sky, but the willow trees always look beautiful even in the winter. I know that you especially like willow trees so it seemed appropriate that I tried to paint it for you!
Well done Alison! Thank you very much Alison for this thoughtful and special dedication.
Now I'm proudly present my collection of cards you have sent to me in the last month. Thanks everybody!

This is a great collection, Albrecht. Alison's card of the park is a perfect winter card. Can't wait to see what is next for our group.
Nice one Alison
The collection looks lovely Albrecht
I love the softness of these colours and the wet wet reflections
What a super idea to pull all the postcards together! I'm thinking maybe a little video for mine.
Alison you've caught the wintery willows very nicely indeed. Definitely very much of the winter.
The willows are beautiful, Alison and such gorgeous watercolour reflections.
It's a beautiful collection, Albrecht.
A true winter scne Allison...I hope we get to see the same scne in spring and summer too! Lovely touches of watercolor washes.

I really like the colours Alison has used to express the winter park. I think Alison's work has become stronger and more confident as the exchange has gone on.
