Isn’t this a great picture? Desirée’s card shows two wonderful ladies (probably watercolour painters) enjoying a perfect summer day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs. Unlike the dauntingly elegant, high-maintenance layabouts usually seen in spa advertisements, these ladies obviously deserved this iced-tea-drinking drift around the pool preceded by mud baths, massages and sauna… and Desirée accurately guessed that this might be my kind of place!

Hasn't this card got a great sense of fun about it - a bit like its artist I feel. And a beautiful portrayal of water - those blues!
I totally agree - the fun shines out from this :>) I like the simplicity of those sun loungers silhouetted in the background too
It's wonderful to see paintings with people in as well. They always liven up a scene - even when laid back and sipping drinks in the middle of a swimming pool! Well done Desiree.
I think there are more of us who can say this is our kind of place! Lovely Desiree..you captured a true summer spirit and now I'm looking outside at the rain with longing eyes...

Thanks everyone, we even had a masher that was trying to touch all the womens feet in the pool, ewwww! We had him thrown out! LOL
